Chiva’s next education meeting will be in-person and online
Chiva runs regular evening education meetings for health professionals/academics working with people living with HIV and the next one is set to take place on Monday 14th November 2022, 6 – 7:30 pm.
This will be the first Chiva education meeting to be hybrid – where attendees can either join in-person at the MRC in Holborn, London or online. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic these were in-person only but shifted to being online only during the pandemic.

- 6pm – Tom Burke – Chiva associate and support camp manager – Camp 2022 evaluation
- 6.20pm – Prof Michael Evangeli – Royal Holloway University of London – HEADS UP study findings. HEADS UP is a study exploring the impact of an intervention on young people’s decision to share their HIV status with others.
- 6.40pm – Dr Katja Doerholt – St Georges hospital & Chiva Steering Group – Paediatric HIV Service Specification and Chiva Standards – updates and discussion.
