F2B 2021
We ran three mini Freedom 2 Be support camps at the start of August 2021, on the theme of Being Me. Across the three camps, 75 young people living with HIV attended.
Each camp was 3 nights long and provided a safe space for the young people to:
- Connect with peers
- Talk about HIV, sexual health and wellbeing through the workshop programme
- Do outdoor and team building activities
- Get creative
- Have fun! With a party on the last night.
One of the camps was run in Scotland. The other two were run back to back in England and were split by age into a younger and older group.
Despite the changes of plan and challenges Covid-19 brought. It was great to be able to run these support camps and get the young people together.
