The Blueprint: Support for young adults

The Blueprint

Welcome to The Blueprint, a programme launched in 2023 for young adults aged 18-25 who have grown up with HIV. We’re helping them navigate the challenges of life with HIV and build a brighter future for themselves and those around them.

The Blueprint focuses on four themes:

  • Confidence and building self-esteem
  • Financial literacy
  • Mental health
  • HIV & me (information and support specifically around HIV)

Each theme has been designed to provide young adults with life skills, information and support, with the chance to take part in hands-on developmental activities as individuals or as a group.

The programme combines monthly group sessions via Zoom, one-to-one online support and coaching to help participants to set goals and support them to reach these goals, and occasional in-person meet-ups. We understand the importance of flexibility and creating a safe and non-judgemental space that is youth-friendly.

We have selected amazing resources to help young adults identify what they want to achieve. For each of the programme pillars, participants receive a workbook to accompany their understanding and learning.
