There are two types of professional membership:
Chiva membership is lifelong and can be opted out of at any time.
Individual membership – £20
Professionals working in HIV in a healthcare or other setting (e.g. social care or academic institution) can become individual professional members of Chiva, with full voting rights . This membership is lifelong, whilst in a relevant professional role.
Cost: £20 per person, a one-off payment to cover lifelong membership
Clinic team membership – £50
Purchased by a HIV clinic team and valid for multiple people . The lead doctor or nurse in each clinic will then give us the names of team members who would like to be included in the membership. Three of these will have full voting rights (including the lead consultant and nurse). Clinic membership is also lifelong.
Cost: £50 per centre, a one-off payment to cover lifelong membership

Professional members’ area
With membership, you can access a secure members’ area of the website with a login provided at sign-up. Find information to support your work with young people and their families, such as additional resources from Chiva projects which are not made available for public access.
Members’ newsletter
The members’ newsletter is sent out four times a year, providing updates on Chiva’s work, upcoming activities, information about wider events, conferences, and recent publications. Additional members’ bulletins are also provided to share information of potential interest.
Affiliate newsletter
Individuals and partner organisations who are not Chiva members can still get key updates from our affiliate newsletter.
