Registration and abstract submissions now open for 17th Annual Chiva Conference

We are excited to have opened registration for our 17th annual conference, taking place on Friday 17 March 2023 in London and online. 

This year, we’ll be exploring different issues around perinatally acquired HIV, from infant feeding to adolescent services to aging with HIV and what this means for younger people. 

Sessions will include: 

  • Vertical transmission: Where are we now in the UK? Dr Hermione Lyall, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
  • Nourish UK: A study on HIV and infant feeding. Bakita Kasadha & Dr Tanvi Ravi, University of Oxford
  • HIV and aging: What does this mean for young people? Prof Alan Winston, Imperial College London, BHIVA invited speaker

Abstracts

Abstracts are now invited for posters and potential selection for oral presentation. This is a successful and important component of conference, enabling delegates to keep informed about important research and projects. Please submit abstracts to elaine.white@chiva.org.uk by 31 January 2023

Student places

Chiva is offering 10 free places to medical, nursing or social care students, which will be allocated via an application process.

To apply, students should send 200 words outlining how attending Chiva conference would benefit them in their professional training and future career to elaine.white@chiva.org.uk by 31 January 2023. Please share this opportunity with those in your network.
